I saw on the message part of Yahoo groups some stupid ass in Oregon that filled out the form just to see if they'd get a spot for that free show....the ass can't even go yet got tickets! That pisses me off, what a jack ass!

Welcome to the wonderful world of KROQ prizes. The only prize I have one was for backstage passes to an Eminem show. It was an online contest that didn't say what the prize was. I couldn't even sell em because you needed an ID to pick them up. KROQ has gone to hell. And Fuck Eminem, you were male, middle class, and white. Ass

last year I was caller 20 and won tickets to the premier of Austin Powers Goldmember at Universal, talk about fun! Also included in my prize was a Magnavox DVD player (nice one!) and the first two Austin Powers movies on DVD, and the soundtrack to Goldmember which kinda sucks but it has Dr. Evil's 'Hard Knock Life'. What pissed me off was that I had to go pick up the tickets and then a few weeks later I had to go back and pick up the DVD player and DVDS...all the way out to Culver City in rush hour traffic.

They played my call on the air a few minutes after I won, too - it was weird hearing myself on the radio. [img]redface.gif[/img]

i once won tickets to the 1st Kroq inland invasion a couple years ago and sent my then wife up to the station to pick em up. After she got back 3 1/2 hours later, i found out that those cheep bastards gave me lawn tickets. I have to tell you something, lawn at blockbuster really sucks. I didnt even bother going, i tried to sell the tickets on ebay and i had no reserve and did not get any bids. KROQ are a bunch of cheep bastards.

KROQ sucks ass. Besides Kevin and Bean and Loveline their is virtually nothing worth listening to on that station. THE MUSIC SUCKS. If I have to hear the White Stripes one more time, I swear to God I'm going to hang myself. I realize many of you think it would be a good thing if I were to hang myself, so to those of you thinking that, I say "KISS MY ASS." That is all.
